What you’ll be doing?
- Strategic Financial Leadership: Provide comprehensive financial oversight and strategic support through direct reporting to CFO while leading and managing all accounting activities for the joint venture operations.
- Cross-Functional Business Partnership: Collaborate effectively with operations teams across diverse backgrounds to enhance efficiency and support sustainable business growth while leveraging your manufacturing sector experience.
- Data-Driven Analysis & Insights: Conduct detailed financial analyses to provide actionable insights for business decision-making, utilizing your strong analytical and problem-solving skills for strategic guidance.
- Team Management & Development: Lead and supervise finance teams based in the PRC, applying your team leadership experience to build capable financial operations across regional locations.
Who are they looking for?
- Professional Qualifications: Big 4 Manager Grade or above with CPA qualification, providing strong foundation in financial management, audit practices, and professional accounting standards for complex business operations.
- Industry Expertise: Proven audit experience in manufacturing sector, demonstrating deep understanding of manufacturing financial processes, compliance requirements, and industry-specific challenges and opportunities.
- Leadership Experience: Experience in supervising teams based in PRC, showing ability to manage cross-border operations and work effectively with diverse cultural and business environments.
- Core Competencies: Detail-oriented approach with strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and business acumen essential for providing strategic financial guidance in dynamic AI business environment.
- Entrepreneurial Mindset: Proactive, hands-on approach with resilience to thrive in start-up environment, demonstrating adaptability and innovation in newly established joint venture operations.
- Location & Mobility: Based in Hong Kong with willingness to undertake regional travel to meet business needs, ensuring effective coordination across multiple operational locations.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in English and Chinese (including Mandarin) for effective communication with international stakeholders, regional teams, and diverse business partners.
