    A leading regional securities and asset management firm with a strong footprint across Asia is partnering with Randstad to hire a Senior Investment Counsellor for their expanding Private Wealth Management division. This is a critical role for an experienced individual looking to join a dynamic and collaborative front-office team.

    The Role:

    As a Senior Investment Counsellor, you will be responsible for partnering with Relationship Managers to provide sophisticated, institutional-quality investment advice and solutions to a discerning client base. Your expertise will be key in formulating and executing bespoke investment strategies across various asset classes.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide Expert Advisory: Deliver tailor-made, non-discretionary investment advisory services to PWM clients, covering both traditional and alternative investments.
    • Strategy Formulation: Develop and present comprehensive investment proposals, including asset allocation recommendations, portfolio construction, and risk management solutions.
    • Market Analysis: Stay abreast of global market trends, economic developments, and regulatory changes to provide timely and relevant insights to clients and internal stakeholders.
    • Collaboration: Work closely with Relationship Managers (RMs), product specialists, and research teams to identify opportunities and ensure seamless client service delivery.
    • Investment Due Diligence: Conduct robust due diligence on investment products and mandates to ensure suitability and quality.

    Requirements:

    • Experience: A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in an investment advisory or product specialist role within a private bank, private wealth management, or a major financial institution’s investment desk.
    • Deep Product Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of multi-asset class solutions, including Equities, Fixed Income, Funds, Structured Products, and Alternatives.
    • Client Communication: Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex investment concepts clearly and confidently to sophisticated clients.
    • Licensing: Relevant regulatory licenses (e.g., SFC Type 1 and 4) are required.
    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field. A CFA designation is highly advantageous.
    • Language: Fluency in English and Mandarin is essential to effectively liaise with the regional client base.
