Job description:
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Project Leader to oversee and drive key manufacturing projects within our metal production facility. The ideal candidate will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage timelines and budgets, and ensure the successful execution of projects related to fabrication, process improvement, and quality ensure. Possibility of long-term business trips to Mexico and Dongguan.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project management for metal fabrication, production upgrades, or process optimization.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to ensure timely delivery.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards throughout project execution.
- Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and clients to align expectations and resolve issues.
- Prepare and present regular project updates to senior management.
- Promote continuous improvement and lean manufacturing practices.
Requirement:
- At least 5 years in project management within a manufacturing or metalworking environment.
- Strong knowledge of metal fabrication processes (e.g., welding, CNC machining, sheet metal work).
- Proficient in project management tools (e.g., ERP systems).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Basic computer skill and with software like MS Office
- Confident and good decision-making ability with attention to detail.
- Speaks Cantonese, Mandarin, and English.
