Our client is a garment manufacturing group with operations across Hong Kong, Bangladesh, and China. They are seeking an experienced and driven Assistant Compensation & Benefits (C&B) Manager to oversee regional C&B activities and manage core C&B operations for their Hong Kong office. This role offers the opportunity to participate in strategic C&B projects and contribute to building a competitive and sustainable rewards framework for the Group.
Responsibilities
Compensation & Benefits Operations
- Oversee full spectrum of C&B functions for Hong Kong, Bangladesh, and China offices.
- Manage end-to-end C&B operations for the Hong Kong office, including payroll administration, annual review process, salary benchmarking, incentive administration, and employee benefits programs.
- Ensure compliance with local statutory requirements and internal HR policies across all jurisdictions.
- Maintain and prepare regular C&B reporting, analysis, and dashboards to support business decisions.
C&B Projects & Strategic Initiatives
- Participate in and support key C&B projects such as:
- Job evaluation and job grading exercises
- Salary structure review and market competitiveness analysis
- Benefits program review and enhancement
- HRIS or system enhancement/implementation projects
- Conduct data analysis and provide insights on market trends, pay equity, and internal alignment.
- Support the Group HR Head in reviewing policies and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline.
- Minimum 6 years’ solid experience in Compensation & Benefits, preferably in multinational or manufacturing environments.
- Hands-on experience in C&B project execution (i.e. salary structure review, job evaluation, benefits review, etc.) is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in MS Excel and HR systems.
- Good understanding of compensation principles, benefits administration, and regional HR practices.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-border teams.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage sensitive information with confidentiality.
