Finance and Human Resources Officer

    Location: Hong Kong Island (Hybrid)

    Job Type: Full time

    Salary: $30,000 – $40,000 per month

    Job Duties

    • Demonstrated experience in managing financial transactions, budgeting, and financial reporting within a single family office, ensuring accurate forecasting and performance analysis.

    • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and tax requirements

    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the family office, ensuring efficient administrative processes

    • Proficiency in tracking and analyzing investment portfolios, providing insights into asset performance, monitoring cash flow and managing bank accounts, and preparing reports to assist family members in informed decision-making.

    • Prepare all accounting functions, including general ledger maintenance, investments record, payroll, expense reimbursements, manage budgets, financial forecasts, and reports

    • Experience in supporting recruitment, onboarding, and training processes for staff and service providers, fostering a cohesive and high-performing team.

    • Strong understanding of employment laws and financial regulations; ability to maintain accurate financial records and employee documentation while ensuring compliance with legal requirements.

    • Knowledge of managing employee benefits and compensation packages, as well as addressing inquiries related to HR policies and ensuring compliance with labor laws and best practices

    • Excellent interpersonal skills for building relationships within the family office, along with outstanding organizational abilities to manage multiple priorities and support a productive work environment.

    Requirement

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field

    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in finance and administration, preferably in a family business or family office

    • Good command in both spoken and written English and Chinese

    • MS Excel, Word and Chinese word processing

    • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills

    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information
