Responsibilities
- Network Infrastructure Administration:
- Oversee the configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of the group’s network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Manage and troubleshoot firewalls, ensuring robust perimeter security and implementing effective network segmentation to protect sensitive assets and minimize attack surfaces.
- VPN Management:
- Configure and maintain site-to-site VPNs and client-to-site VPNs to support secure inter-site and remote connectivity.
- Monitor and ensure the reliability and performance of VPN connections.
- Wi-Fi System Management:
- Administer and optimize the organization’s Wi-Fi systems to ensure secure, scalable, and efficient wireless connectivity.
- Cloud Network Administration:
- Manage Azure and AWS network infrastructure.
- Monitor and optimize cloud network performance and security.
- Security and Compliance:
- Implement and enforce security policies to protect the organization’s data and systems.
- Conduct regular audits of network infrastructure to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Troubleshooting and Support:
- Provide technical support for network-related issues, resolving incidents and minimizing downtime.
- Collaborate with IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related problems.
Requirements
- Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in network administration, cloud infrastructure, or a similar role.
- Technical Skills:
- Hands-on experience with firewalls (PA, Fortinet), network switches (Cisco, H3C), VPN technologies (site-to-site and Client-to-site), and Wi-Fi systems.
- Proficiency in managing Azure network components (AGW, NSG, UDR, VNets, LB, VPN GW, Bastion etc).
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, and switching.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Certifications (Preferred):
- Relevant certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, or equivalent.
- Additional Preferences:
- Experience with network monitoring tools and platforms.
- Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards
