Responsibilities:
- Develop, customize, and maintain open-source E-commerce platforms and web applications using JavaScript (ES6+), React, HTML, CSS, and relevant frameworks.
- Build and optimize custom web apps or plugins with Node.js to support business requirements.
- Integrate APIs and third-party services (e.g. ERP, CRM, Github, Google Ads) to streamline operations.
- Continuously monitor and improve frontend performance, responsiveness, and UX.
- Optimize website interfaces from a UX design perspective to elevate the user experience.
- Develop web applications and plugins to enhance platform functionality and user experience.
- Ensure code quality and maintainability through best practices, testing, and version control.
- Support SEO and marketing initiatives through technical enhancements and cross-team collaboration.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in web development and server management.
- Experience with open-source E-commerce platforms (e.g., Magento, WooCommerce, PrestaShop, or similar).
- Proficient in JavaScript (ES6+), React, HTML, CSS, and familiar with backend technologies such as Node.js.
- Advanced knowledge of nodeJs.
- Developing and supporting software including applications, database integration, interfaces, and new functionality enhancements.
- Proficiency in database design and direct SQL querying (excluding Entity Framework)
- Familiarity with React/TypeScript.
- Familiar with SEO and analytics tools such as GA4 and Tag Manager.
- Strong problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a fast learner.
- Interest or experience in AI-driven CRM, data analytics, or productivity tools.
- Strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility, and performance optimization.
- Experience with Agile or Scrum software development methodologies.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Fluent in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin.
