This is a full-time IT Administrator role based in Hong Kong. As an IT Administrator at SK Hong Kong Limited, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintaining the company’s IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and productivity.
What you’ll be doing
- Install and configure software and hardware
- Manage network servers and technology tools
- Set up accounts and workstations
- Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements
- Troubleshoot issues and outages
- Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls
- Upgrade systems with new releases and models
- Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies
- Build an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals and IT policies
What we’re looking for
- BSc/Ba in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an IT support or administrator role
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management
- Knowledge of server management, network administration, and data backup/recovery
- Ability to create scripts in Python, Perl or other languages
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
