The HR Operations Analystwill handle comprehensive HR operations with a focus on recruitment, compensation & benefits (C&B) administration, and payroll processing for Hong Kong and China markets. This role will also serve as a business partner (BP) to collaborate with department heads and business leaders, providing strategic HR support while ensuring compliance and efficiency.

Description
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job posting, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding for various roles within the institution.
- Oversee compensation and benefits administration, including salary reviews, bonus calculations, and benefits enrollment, ensuring accuracy and alignment with company policies.
- Lead payroll operations for Hong Kong and China, including data input, deductions, tax compliance, and timely processing; collaborate with external vendors as needed.
- Act as a BP to department heads and business leaders, providing advice on HR matters, workforce planning, employee relations, and strategic initiatives to support business objectives.
- Ensure HR activities comply with Hong Kong and China labor laws; prepare HR reports, analytics, and audits to support decision-making.
- Handle employee inquiries, maintain HR records, and contribute to HR projects such as policy updates and process improvements.
Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Mathematics, or a related field; a mathematics background is preferred for analytical tasks in payroll and reporting.
- Minimum of 5 years of HR operations experience, with solid hands-on expertise in payroll processing for Hong Kong and/or China markets.
- Knowledge of China policies and labor laws is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills, with proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel for data analysis).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Fluency in English and Cantonese; proficiency in Mandarin is essential for handling China-related operations.
